High Achievers

High Achievers

Our aim at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ is to support all students to achieve their best. In addition, those students with special talents and those who are considered gifted and talented receive special support. Students can expect to be stretched and challenged in individual subject specialisms where they have real gifts. Each department offers a programme of activities and visits which have as their aim to widen the experience in a particular subject and to open up new worlds of understanding beyond the confines of the A level or GCSE specifications.

Those who have talents in sport, music or drama can be involved in the wide-ranging extra curricular programme, details of which are discussed at interview.

We also offer specialist Oxbridge preparation and subject entry test preparation for high achievers in individual subjects. Historically, more than one in three of the college’s Oxbridge applications have been successful in being offered a place.

"Pupils and sixth-form students say that SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ (SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½) is ‘amazing’ and a great place to study. They know what they want to get out of their studies and are exceptionally well motivated to learn."
