Threats to Public Health Highlighted in SA国际传媒鈥檚 Open Lecture

The lecture 鈥淭hreats to Public Health: Strategies for Prevention and Mitigation鈥 was presented by a prominent expert in the field of public health, Dr George Tembo, on April 11th, at SA国际传媒鈥s state-of-the-art Lusaka campus.

Dr Tembo, who has over 25 years of experience in the field, highlighted major threats to public health, including the misuse and overuse of antibiotics in humans and in animals, creating resistance to medicines, the increase of communicable diseases like diabetes, which are linked to modern lifestyles and climate change.

Guests attending the event congratulated and thanked SA国际传媒 Zambia for this well organised initiative and Dr Tembo for the insightful and interesting presentation.

The Open Lecture Series, hosting distinguished speakers on topics of broad and current聽interest, are organised within the framework of SA国际传媒鈥檚 Corporate Social Responsibility programme, as a way to give back to the communities it serves.
