Celebrating five decades of achievement
In September 1973, three graduates from the University of Cambridge – Sir Nicholas Mander, Rodney Portman and Robert Woodward – realised a shared ambition. That ambition was to bring the fundamentals that shaped their own educational experience, delivered by their prestigious alma mater, to school age students.
Their vision comprised small classes, a strong tutorial system and superb teaching, all set within an informal atmosphere. Fifty years on, these fundamentals are still the hallmarks of an SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ education.
As we approach this significant milestone in SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½â€™s history, we are looking forward to celebrating the amazing achievements of our alumni, students, and tutors over the last five decades.
In the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing more details about the exciting initiatives we have planned for our fiftieth year. Stay in touch with us for the latest updates via our social channels and website.
